Special Olympics Idaho provides training and competition opportunities by way of one of many
Local Area Programs throughout the state. Under the guidance of an Area Director and Area Committee,
the Local Area Program is responsible for the development and implementation of Area and
community programs consistent with Special Olympics Idaho policy. The Local Area Program is, in
effect, the community base for all local Special Olympics activities. You can become involved
as an athlete or volunteer by contacting one of the Areas nearest you.

To find out more about Special Olympics teams in your area, browse the
County Map
or select a local team from the
Area Local Programs page.
