    BOWLING -LANE MONITOR - GENERAL
    WHEN: Saturday, November 9, 2019 7:00 AM TO 12:00 PM

    DESCRIPTION: The lane monitor ensures that each athlete is bowling on the proper lane and in the proper order. If there is an emergency on the lane, the lane monitor gets the emergency medical personnel. In addition, the lane monitor should be able to perform the scorekeepers duties should the scorekeeper need to step away. Lane monitors can offer encouragement to the athletes. However, under no circumstances are they to coach the athletes during competition.

    DESCRIPTION: The volunteers assisting with registration will be the first point of contact for all teams and volunteers. The job of the registration volunteers is to check in all competing teams and volunteers and provide them will all necessary information concerning the schedule of events.

    BOWLING-SCOREKEEPER - GENERAL
    WHEN: Saturday, November 9, 2019 7:00 AM TO 12:00 PM

    DESCRIPTION: Scorekeepers are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of scores for the athletes bowling in their lane. Scorekeepers should know how to keep score manually in case there is a problem with the automated system. Scorekeepers will maintain score sheets manually and relay any changes to the appropriate staff. Upon the completion of the heat, the scorekeeper is responsible for checking the scores before handing them to the runner to be delivered to the head score keeper. Scorekeepers may offer encouragement to the athletes. However, under no circumstances are they to coach the athletes during competition.
