Special Olympics Idaho hosts three state-wide competitions every year. In addition, there are
21 Area competitions held throughout the state annually and athlete training is provided
year-round. Each state competition costs nearly $150,000.

The only way for Special Olympics Idaho to fund these events is through your donations.
Financial support from local businesses, grants and individuals allows the athletes to
compete and better themselves. There is no Federal funding for these programs; in fact,
Special Olympics Idaho pays the national organization for its participation.

There are many ways to help fund the Special Olympics Idaho programs. You can
send in a donation
as an individual or challenge your friends and co-workers to raise money through events;
each donation being tax deductible.

Feel free to contact us to find out more about
how your donations help the programs and competitions that are so important to the
Special Olympians in Idaho.
