The Chronicle of Philanthropy recently named Special Olympics "the most credible charity in America".
Over 5 million donors and a half-million volunteers supported Special Olympics programs nationwide.
Special Olympics is the world's largest Amateur sports organization with nearly a million athletes
and 250,000 coaches in 140 countries—over 95% percent of the participation is in the United States.
Special Olympics Idaho is proud to be part of this organization. Through support of Idaho citizens and
local businesses, the much-needed competitions and athlete programs can be provided.
Corporate Sponsors receive benefits for their financial
support either annually or through fundraising events.
Fundraising Events like the Breakfast with Champions
and Law Enforcement Torch run programs, such as the Penguin Plunge, Truck Convoy and Cop on a Donut Shop,
help to consistently bring in funds for competitions.
Individual donations are welcomed throughout the year and
Special Olympics Idaho is happy to help with ideas for mini-fundraisers for friends, neighborhoods
and co-workers.
