| WHAT SPORTS WE OFFER AND WHEN... |
| High Valley is a brand new team. We would like to offer sports all year round, but are starting out slow. Right now, we offer bowling in the fall, Alpine skiing in the winter, hope to have a swim team in the spring, and a floor hockey team in the summer. We are still rounding up volunteers, and equipment, so if you know of anyone who can help, please let us know. As we get more volunteers, we will offer more sports. |

| Participation in Special Olympics is FREE to the athlete. In order to accomplish this, our team must raise funds for equipment, uniforms and registration fees at state-level competitions. Your contributions of time and money really do make a difference! | VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Our team is always looking for volunteers! So far, we have 7 athletes, but we want to grow!Volunteering is fun and rewarding! In addition to coaches, volunteers also perform a variety of management/administrative functions that keep the team running smoothly. Our Class A volunteers are over 18 years of age and have passed a background check, including fingerprinting. We also utilize junior volunteers, from 13 to 18 years of age, under the supervision of a Class A volunteer. If you've never worked with us before, don't worry--training is available to help you be successful. To find out more about High Valley, and how you can help, please email joycepage7@msn.com.

| REGIONAL GAMES - DOWNHILL SKIING |
| Becky Page will be competing on February 21 in the Regional games at Bogus Basin in Downhill Skiing. We hope you can all come out to support her!
Race starts at 10:00 on Sleepy Hollow across from Pioneer Lodge behind the Race House.
Awards are at 2:00 on the 3rd floor of Pioneer Lodge |
