We are always looking for volunteers to help coach, do fundraising, recruit athletes and volunteers. Junior volunteers are 13-18 years of age, and Class A volunteers are over the age of 18. time to start getting those sponsors for the 5th Annual Polar Plunge for Special Olympics! Raise a minimum of $25 and earn the privilege of taking the annual dip in the balmy waters of the Pend Oreille River. February 21, 2008 at the Priest River city docks we will begin registration at 11:30 and take the leap at Noon! We have some great prizes this year that will be awarded in 3 categories: the plumpest purse award goes to the individual who raises the most money, the panther pretender award is for the best costume, and the polar popsicle is for the brave individual who can stay in the water the longest (BRRRRRRRR!). Our goal this year is to raise $1000 and have 20 people go in the water! We need everyone to work together to make this happen and raise much needed funds for the Priest River Panthers! Get going everyone and we'll see you on the beach February 21st!
