The Boise Community Stars Special Olympics team is made up of over 130 Athletes and more than a hundred volunteers. We participant in Special Olympics activities all year long, starting in January with Floor Hockey, Snowshoeing and Cross-country Skiing. In the late spring we begin practicing for Summer games, where we compete in Aquatics, Basketball, and Track & Field. In the fall, you'll find our Athletes on the soccer and softball fields, on golf courses and in bowling alleys working to do our best to compete and stay fit.
Our team is supported by an amazing group of parents, volunteers, and unified players who do all they can to make Special Olympics a fun, inviting and exciting endeavor for all of our amazing Athletes. We're very proud to have an awesome crew of Global Messengers and Ambassadors supporting us and leading us in our motto, "Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt!"
