The Gate City Team was started 8 years ago, and is located in Pocatello.
Our coaching staff, however, has been around much longer!
Ranging from 10 years to 20 years of service with Special Olympics Idaho.
Our team if full of fun hard working athletes.  We are like an extended family!
We offer sports for every season and are hoping to increase our options.
In working in our sports training our athletes also learn responsiblity, as
economic times get harder donations decrease. We feel it is important
for each athlete to have the pride in knowing that they have raised the money
to attend their state games. We have a few that really go above and beyond what is asked,
and without them we would not have raised the money needed for these games.
We have a variety of levels of ability on our Swim Team, from walkers to 800meter freestylers.
I truly is an awsome thing when you get to see our athletes grow and develope new skills.
Knowing our athletes is the most awsome blessing anyone could ask for!!

Regional competition will be held on Saturday, June 1 in Idaho Falls and State competition will be Friday, June 28 – Sunday, June 30 in Boise. We will have the exact meeting times closer to these dates.
